A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member to teach an online course on Aircraft Airworthiness Engineering Principles. Key Responsibilities: Study and teach guiding, physical, and scientific principles related to airworthiness requirements of aircraft Explore flight dynamics, mission operations, maintenance, and life cycle environments as they relate to airworthiness certification requirements Address principles of aircraft mission definition, systems and components design, substantiation, validation, manufacture, and serviceability Required Qualifications: Hold a minimum of a PhD in a technical field with related airworthiness experience Hold FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER), FAA Authorized Representative (AR), or documented military airworthiness authority experience Have experience in research, development, and application programs related to Airworthiness Engineering Be an active member in professional organizations in engineering Hold a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Airworthiness Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Physics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, Physics, Structural Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Transportation & Highway Engineering
