A company is looking for a Medical Coder - PRN. Key Responsibilities Verify and ensure the accuracy and completeness of diagnosis codes based on services rendered Review medical record information to identify appropriate coding based on CMS HCC categories Enter ICD10-CM codes into computer applications and participate in quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalency Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCA, CCS) with 2 years of experience Proficiency in ICD10-CM coding guidelines and medical terminology Knowledge of HCC auditing concepts and regulatory compliance issues Certification through AAPC or AHIMA
