A company is looking for a Director of Federal Policy to lead its federal policy vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the federal policy vision, strategy, and advocacy efforts within Congress and the Administration
Develop and execute the organization?s federal policy agenda across various health care issues
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with national stakeholders and represent the organization at key meetings
Required Qualifications
At least 10 years of professional experience in federal health care policy
Deep knowledge of federal, state, and private health insurance programs, including Medicare and Medicaid
Experience in legislative or executive branch roles, think tanks, or advocacy organizations
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders
Experience working independently in a collaborative environment with evolving priorities
