Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Japanese creators to develop original manga for the VIZ Originals team
Oversee the editorial process for graphic novel production, ensuring quality and compliance with licensor requirements
Scout and manage freelance translators, editors, and artists for project development
Required Qualifications and Education
2-3 years of experience in editorial services related to book publication, especially comics or graphic novels
Professional fluency in Japanese and English, with strong interpretation skills
Knowledge of the manga and anime creative space
Bachelor?s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Comparative Literature, or a related field
Experience managing graphic novel illustrators and authors
