A company is looking for a Hausa Translator to provide written translation services from English into Hausa.
Key Responsibilities
Provide written translations using a Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tool
Ensure the source content?s concept, style, and register are culturally and linguistically appropriate for the target language
Deliver completed translation jobs by the given deadlines and project budgets
Required Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen and 18 years or older
5 years of experience providing written translations to U.S. federal or state government agencies
Accredited or certified by a recognized translation industry organization or possess a Bachelor?s degree with a certificate in translation studies
High proficiency in English and a native speaker of Hausa
Experience using modern CAT tools and Adobe Acrobat
