A company is looking for a Senior Manager of Accounting to join their Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Drive technical accounting review for new contracts and present conclusions to the Director of Accounting
Research complex accounting issues and provide guidance on accounting treatment for unusual transactions
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including consolidations and maintaining the general ledger system
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate accounting/finance or public accounting
Active CPA license
Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
Experience with complex accounting topics and writing technical accounting memos
