A company is looking for an Executive Director to lead advocacy efforts for DC statehood and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to advance DC statehood and resist federal encroachments
Oversee nonprofit operations, including budgeting and compliance, while leading a dedicated team
Secure funding through grants and donor engagement, and implement targeted communications strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field
Minimum 4 years of senior nonprofit leadership experience in advocacy or policy
Strong knowledge of DC autonomy and the legislative process
Experience in fundraising and donor cultivation
Proven ability to manage nonprofit operations and lead teams effectively
