A company is looking for a Lightning Direct Effects Certification Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Determine certification basis and establish compliance strategy
Develop, review, and approve certification-related documents
Interface with certification authorities and mentor engineering teams
Required Qualifications
Expert-level understanding of design standards for lightning protection
At least 10 years of relevant aviation or aerospace industry experience
A Bachelor of Science in an applicable engineering discipline
Previous experience with direct effects of lightning in aircraft certification
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
