A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations for its Kentucky offices in a full remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Manage and track fixed assets, ensuring accurate depreciation schedules and compliance with accounting policies
Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
Minimum five years of accounting experience, with at least two years in a large healthcare organization preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and healthcare industry financial practices
Experience with ERP accounting systems and proficiency in Excel
