A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage its finance function in support of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Lead the monthly closing process and maintain accurate financial records
Support annual budgeting and contribute to the development of financial statements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent training
At least three years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
Knowledge of nonprofit finance and accounting, including budgets and financial statements
Record of producing accurate financial information in a timely manner
Independent yet collaborative work style with an interest in environmental protection
