A company is looking for a Lead Environment Artist to oversee the environment art team for their next game in the Subnautica Universe.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the concept team and artists to create expressive 3D environments
Define and maintain environment art pipelines and quality targets
Provide coaching, feedback, and manage work across team members and external partners
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a 3D artist in the games industry with leadership experience
Proficiency with Blender, Max, or Maya, Z-Brush, and Substance Designer and Painter
Experience in environment art modeling, texturing, and materials creation
Experience managing and directing outsource partners
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment
